Department has launched Talif-e-Qalab Scheme as a pilot project in three districts i.e. Lahore, Rawalpindi & Multan. Under the scheme, a newly converted Muslim can apply for this grant within one year of his conversion to Islam.

Eligibility Criteria

An adult converted Muslim
Muslim conversion certificate issued by DAR-UL-AFTAA
Provision of CNIC with Muslim name issued by NADRA
A newly converted Muslim can apply for this grant within one year of his conversion to Islam.
The antecedents of newly converted Muslims will be authenticated by the concerned Chairman Local Zakat & Ushr Committee where the person resides.
The applicant will apply to his concerned District Zakat & Ushr Committee (DZC) for financial help.
The District Zakat & Ushr Committee will confirm the conversion certificate from concerned DAR-UL-AFTAA.
The District Zakat & Ushr Committee will make payment of Rs. 150,000/- as one time cash grant to the newly converted Muslim through Crossed cheque.
Only one person from a family can apply for the grant.
