Governemnt of Punjab has been pleased to assign the functions of District Zakat & Ushr Committees to the Deputy Commissioners in Punjab to perform as Administrators of the concerned District Zakat & Ushr Committees in their respective districts with immediate effect for the sake of public interest. Mian Shoukat Ali Laleka Minsiter for Zakat & Ushr advised to all Deputy Commissioners that dsibursement of zakat funds must be fair and transparent among the zakat deserving people.
